The Huey P. Newton Foundation web site. This non-profit organization was founded in 1993 by David Hilliard and Fredrika Newton, and is administered by David Hilliard . The overall aim of the Foundation is to use the documents and things left behind by Huey P. Newton, killed in 1989, not only to preserve the significant lessons and history of the Black Panther Party, but to maintain a contemporary program of education and study that will enlighten and inform and, thereby, recall the spirit of the Panther. |
